These operating rules govern the mutual relations between the fitness centre operator and the operator’s clients.

For the purposes of these operating rules, a client is a natural person (hereinafter referred to as a “client”) who has been allowed entry to the fitness centre on the basis of a single-use entrance or on the basis of another form of entrance according to the current offer.

The services provided by the fitness centre are understood to be provision of facilities and exercise equipment and organisation of various types of exercise.
Every client is obligated to familiarise himself/herself with the fitness centre’s operating rules, which are posted in a visible place at the fitness centre’s reception desk and to abide by these operating rules.

While the fitness centre is in operation, it is staffed by personnel who have attained the appropriate specialised education or undergone a retraining course that authorises them to provide the services offered by the fitness centre. If necessary, such personnel are further prepared to provide first aid or to call the emergency services and have access to a first-aid kit containing necessary items for treating and disinfecting minor skin injuries, capillary injuries, etc.

Every client is fully responsible for his/her own health condition and participates in exercise at his/her own risk. Every client must be aware of his/her current health condition and adjust the intensity and duration of exercise accordingly. Prior to their first visit to the fitness centre, we recommend that clients consult a physician regarding the suitability of exercise with respect to the clients’ health condition. Prior to visiting the fitness centre, persons with medical disorders (cardiovascular disease – heart, blood vessels, blood pressure;  locomotory system diseases – diabetes, etc.) must consult their health condition with their physician, who will determine any possible restrictions. Clients who must adhere to a special exercise regimen (restrictions) must inform the personnel about such regimen during each visit and subsequently respect the personnel’s instructions. In the event that a client determines that his/her health condition does not allow use of the fitness centre’s services or continued use of such services could imperil his/her health condition, such client is obligated to immediately inform the personnel of such fact and immediately cease using the services or engaging in other sporting activities. The operator is not responsible for any damage to health or property that may arise on the part of the client as a result of failure to comply with this procedure or with the instructions issued by the operator’s personnel. Furthermore, the operator is not responsible for any damage to health or property caused by the client intentionally or through negligence, carelessness or overestimation of his/her condition. In the event of any injury, every client is obligated to inform the operator of such injury.

Every client is obligated to use sports clothing, change into clean sports shoes and to use his/her own clean towel when exercising.
Visitors to the fitness centre bear full responsibility for their valuables (e.g. cash, wristwatches, jewellery, etc.) when visiting the fitness centre. It is possible to leave valuables at the reception desk during the time of one’s visit to the fitness centre.

In the case of purchase of a so-called permanent entrance pass, the client shall receive, according to the fitness centre’s current offer and subject to a CZK 300 deposit, a card enabling him/her to use individual services. The card is the property of the fitness centre and is lent to the client, who undertakes to protect it against damage and misuse. The deposit will be refunded to the client upon return of the card. In the event of loss or damage of the card, the client shall be obligated to pay the amount of CZK 300, which is the purchase price of a new card. The operator is authorised to offset this amount against the deposit.

The operator keeps records of clients containing their personal data (except in the case of single-use entrances). The operator undertakes to handle clients’ personal data in accordance with Act No. 101/2000 Coll., on Protection of Personal Data.

In the event of detection of any damage to equipment or exercise aids, every client is obligated to make such damage known to the fitness centre’s personnel, who will take appropriate action.

Smoking, consumption of alcoholic beverages, use of intoxicants, etc. are strictly prohibited in the fitness centre. Persons in an intoxicated state or under the influence of addictive, narcotic or psychotropic substances or wearing soiled or obviously inappropriate clothing are prohibited from entering all areas of the fitness centre. In such cases, the operator’s personnel are authorised at any time to demand that such persons exit the fitness centre. If that measure is ineffective, such persons may be escorted out of the fitness centre without compensation.

Persons under the age of 15 years may be present in the fitness centre only when accompanied by their parents, who shall bear all responsibility for any harm to their children’s health and damage to the operator’s property caused by their children.

It is necessary to exit the exercise facilities ten minutes prior to the end of the opening hours so that visitors have time to shower and dress before closure of the fitness centre.

A camera system is installed in the fitness centre in accordance with the Act on Personal Data Protection and Preservation of Human Rights. The camera system serves primarily for the clients’ safety and protection of property.

The prices of individual services and types of offered goods are set forth in a separate pricelist issued by the operator. Individual sums for services and goods can be adjusted by the provider.

Only persons who have an agreement with the operator of B-fitness centrum can exercise in the fitness centre.

The operator is authorised to amend these operating rules at any time. These operating rules and amendments thereof come into force on the date of their posting in the fitness centre. These operating rules are valid and in force as of 22 January 2018.
